Installation of the impact protection slab substructure below the EPDM coat can be done in any weather. The level supporting layer under the slabs must be firmly compacted aggregate (not sand) or pavement. The slabs provide certified safety in accordance with EN 1177 and can be played on immediately if desired.

The decorative seamless coat of virgin EPDM material can be applied immediately if ambient conditions permit or at a later time if the weather is cold or wet.

The virgin EPDM coat (self-manufactured KRAIBURG formulation) can be used to make playing surfaces in any colour desired including mixed colours.

Drainage channels on the lower side of the slabs and the high water permeability of the system ensure playability even immediately after heavy rainfalls.
Playing areas and contoured playgrounds surfaced with KRAIFLEX® Seamless fulfill highest safety requirements in accordance with EN 1177. They blend in perfectly with the surroundings, showcase the games offered and and enhance recreational value:
